Volunteer for SKYBALL

Be a SKYBALL Coach!

Are you interested in coaching a middle school basketball team?  SKYBALL is currently seeking volunteer coaches for the upcoming middle school basketball season!  Practices begin in early November after teams are formed.

Coaches are assigned to teams according to their experience level and interest.  Instructional materials and mentoring assistance are available upon request, plus a coaching clinic is held in November for all coaches.  Coaches must pass a criminal background check to work with the youth of our program.

If you’re interested in serving as a head coach or assistant coach, please submit an application.  The easiest way is to apply from this website: Apply online now!

If you prefer to print the Coaching Application and submit it by mail, please choose the download option by clicking on this electronic link:  [Download Coach's Application]. These Coaching Applications must be delivered to your Area Coordinator or mailed to:

Other Volunteer Opportunities

SKYBALL also depends upon volunteers for its Board of Directors, to perform team administrative functions, and to serve as scorekeepers and timers at games. This community effort has resulted in a middle school basketball program for all boys and girls who wish to participate regardless of skill level or financial status.  Volunteers are the heart and soul of our program!

Individuals interested in participating in any capacity should call the SKYBALL message line at 503-589-9581 or contact us.
